  1. 1 Ilish Fish (1 Kg)
  2. Onion (2 Cup)
  3. Green Chili (7/8 no.)
  4. Mustard Oil (4 Tablespoon)
  5. Corriender Powder (2 teaspoon)
  6. Turmeric Powder (2 teaspoons)
  7. Red chili Powder (2 Teaspoon)
  8. Corriender Leaves (2 Table spoon)
  9. Salt to test

  1. Cut the ilish fish into pieces.
  2. Wash thoroughly.
  3. Take finely chopped onions, turmeric powder, red chili powder, corriender powder, salt, mustard oil, and 3/4 pieces of green chili. Mix everything finely with your hand.
  4. Take all the fish and mix them with the spices finely.
  5. Keep the mixed fish aside for the 10/15 mix.
  6. Add 2 cups of water and cover it with a lid.
  7. Cook for 15–20 minutes.
  8. Add the remaining green chilies and coriander leaves and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Turn it down from the fire and keep the cooked fish aside with a lid for 5 minutes.
  10. Now it is ready to serve with rice or polao.
